Digital Microwave Radio Linking

Click here or on SIAE logo to contact Broadtech about your DMR design or supply needs!

Broadtech engineers have designed many wireless terrestrial linking systems throughout New Zealand and overseas using:

  • Digital Microwave Radio
  • Analogue Microwave, and
  • Analogue Point to Point technology.

Using our purpose-built terrain database, Broadtech has the ability to analyse and design radio paths between any two points in New Zealand.

We specialise in supplying and supporting SIAE (Italy) digital microwave radio equipment.

Link viability can be studied taking into account changes in:

  1. atmospheric conditions
  2. rain fade
  3. multipath effects, and
  4. unwanted interference

Accounting for all these factors enables us to predict link reliability to a high degree of accuracy.

Broadtech know most of the major players in the broadcasting industry, and with our own site management experience, we can often suggest suitable sites for linking solutions, or put you in contact with site owners.
